How to Configure Microsoft Windows 7 to use TLS Version 1.2

Windows 7 is officially an “end of life” product and it is recommended that you update to Windows 10. If you are still using Windows 7 then you may have noticed, you are no longer able to connect to the email server securely. This is probably due to your Windows 7 installation not having TLS 1.2 enabled.

Your operating system and email program need to support TLS 1.2 to be able to connect to the email server. This guide will explain how you can do that on Windows 7.

If this still doesn't work then you will have to update to Windows 10.
