Connect to FTP using Adobe Dreamweaver

If you are using Adobe Dreamweaver to upload files to your website that is hosted on cPanel then you need to enter the following details:

  • Server Name: This can be anything you want for your own reference. 
  • Connect Using: FTP
  • FTP Address:
  • Port: 21
  • Username: The FTP username.
  • Password: The FTP Password
  • Root Directory: public_html
  • Web URL: Your full domain name (For example:

As shown in the screenshot below - You then should be able to connect to the FTP server and make changes to your website.
