Received an email that mentions: WHOIS Data confirmation?

You may have received an email message that has the subject of: WHOIS Data Confirmation for “yourdomain.com”

Most of the time these emails are genuine, and they are reminders to keep the contact information on your domain name up to date. The emails are normally sent from our partnering Domain Registrar on behalf of iRack Limited. Sending these reminders is a standard practice adopted by ICANN (The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) and all accredited registrars should comply with this procedure to help customers keep their domain ownership information accurate.

Since GDPR the contact details provided in the email are hidden and will show what the public WHOIS records show and that is “Data Protected” or “Contact Privacy”. If you get one of these emails – Forward them to support@iracknet.com who will check the contact details on the domain name and will inform you of the current details and if any adjustments need to be made.

Alternatively, you can log into the clients portal and update any of the contact information on your domain names.

If you receive any emails that you are unsure of – Get in touch with the support department by either emailing them: support@iracknet.com or opening a support ticket.
