iOS (iPhone/iPad) Email Setup

Introduction

This knowledgebase article will show you how to add your email account onto an iOS device such as an iPhone or iPad with the cPanel email server as either a POP or IMAP email account. This video was filmed on an iPhone using iOS12. Some settings may vary between iOS versions, but you should be able to follow the steps below to get a successful account creation.

 

Requirements

Before you can start adding the email account to your Ios device you will need the following:

 

Choose if you are going to add the account as POP or IMAP. Please click here to see the following article that explains the differences between a POP and IMAP email account.

On your iOS device go to the Settings application - Then look for Password & Accounts and click on "Add Account" then you can start watching the video guides below to see what settings you need to enter or adjust.
